This was my first Vonnegut book, and I couldn't get enough of it. The jilted world Vonnegut created is strangely honest and heartbreaking. This is a multi-layered masterpiece showing the damaged psyche of one who went to war with Vonnegut's famous comedic touch. It is a bit difficult to read, epeecially if you're not aquainted with his style of writing, but it is a real treauser if you have the ability to decipher what he means by what he is saying, which are often two very different things.
