Cute story about learning to deal with your family. I liked the way the man was the first to realize that he has feelings for the girl.

This title is yet another excellent example of this author’s gift for characterization and snappy dialogue.

Kevin McKnight is a high school science teacher with a strong protective streak and a savior complex.

Mia Appleby is a high-powered ad exec trying to escape a past of poverty and emotional abuse and neglect at the hands of her man-hungry mother and older sister.

When Mia's troubled, sixteen-year-old niece Hope shows up on Mia’s doorstep after a cross-country car trip, Mia’s past catches up with her full-force.

This story is fast-paced with strong, emotional conflict, colorful and well-delineated main and secondary characters, and is yet another hot and sexy gem from Shalvis.
