I watched the A&E mini-series they had a TV a very long time ago and that's why I read the book. That mini-series is amazing! Watch it if you ever get the chance.

Agree with angie and kristen. This is a tough read (written by a lawyer in 1749, so not only is it in King James English, it's King James lawyerese!!) Still, the story is so entertaining that it's worth the effort.

I am about 3/4 through this book and I am amazed!!! Fielding has some of the most introspective and insightful ways of investigating the human condition... in any era. I'm sad that I didn't pick it up sooner! It is not a quick read but it is very much worth the effort.

How sad no one has said anything about this book! It is amazing! Fielding has a great interaction with his readers. I love that. And the book makes you laugh. I love it. The A&E 6 hour movie is the best you will ever see.
