I've never read much of Mark Twain's stuff. I vaguely remember reading A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court in college and I think I was probably SUPPOSED to read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer at some point in school, but this was the first time I had ever picked up what's supposed to be his greatest work, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I wish I had done so sooner, because it was great.

People have said Huckleberry Finn was the best novel Mark Twain has ever written, better than Tom Sawyer! If you were Huckleberry Finn, what adventures would you like to go on?

Katya..if you click on 'see book description' in blue under the title (at the top of this page) it should come up with a page that will tell you what the book is about.

In a nutshell, if you've read 'the adventures of tom sawyer' this book is a kind of sequel written from Huckleberry Finn's point of view. He is a young boy and it is a story of his journey and adventures down the Mississipi river as he is running away from 'sivilisation' in the 19th century.

It is an interesting story and I enjoyed reading it. I love how Mark Twain satirised the hypocrisy of the times.
