Also, no non-fiction can give such an account of the socio-political state of a country during a specific period in history in a fashion that this fiction can boast of. Needless to mention - It is a 'Classic'”

I have never felt as close to a book character as I did to Jean Valjean! This is a great book for anyone who loves stories about the power of forgiveness! Although it is not considered religious, I think Les Miserables definately has a Christian theme as it shows the amazing change a man makes from a criminal to a wonderful person after giving his life to God and the stuggles he goes through to keep his faith. ”
