Beautiful, tender story with a romance sure to please even the most discerning romantic. It's been years since I've read this book, but even after all this time I still remember how much the story impressed me.

It is the story of the difficulties a couple encounters in their first year of marriage and how hardships can be overcome by the strength of a loving and loyal relationship. You might recognize the author, because she also wrote , A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I highly recommend this book! :) Have a great day!

I don't remember this one too well since it was so long ago when I read it. A nice story about a newlywed couple...I remember liking it though and loving Smith's writing style.

If you enjoy "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn," be sure to read this one by the same author.

After reading "A tree grows in Brooklyn" I wanted to explore other works of hers, and I love both!

THis is one of my favorites probably because of when I read it. It's about a newly we couple and there joys and trials with money and school. I read it when I was putting my husband through Graduate school. Very sweet and really shows what marriage is really about!
