The immature train of thought makes the novel seem as if was written by pre-teen girl suffering from ADHD. The novel was full of stereotypical, cliche, and one-dimensional characters. “The House of Night series are amazing. This book is set in modern day, except everyone knows that vampyres exist. If you get marked a vampyre, you must go live at the House of Night to be trained and taken care of. Zoey is a fledgling vapmyre, but her mark is strangely already filled in. She finds out that she has a special power that no fledgling has ever had before. Great books!!”

“It was okay. Took a long, long time to get into it. Zoey is a great character--strong, wise, compassionate, just, loyal, and a teenager. ”

“Easy read. Liked most of the book but did not like all the combining of witch craft and vamp folkloar. Will probley read the others. The book left me wanting to know what would happen next.”
