I read this way back in college and thought I'd pick it up again and reread. It was very enjoyable the second time through. I like Amanda Quick's stories and strong heroines.

Iphiginia Bright, to help her aunt with a blackmailer, claims to be Marcus Cloud's mistress (thinking he was out of the picture). She becomes a sensation, only then Marcus returns. He agrees to her charade, then the blackmailer goes after them!

Another of my favorites. I reread this story every couple of months just for fun. Marcus & his rules against Iphiginia Bright..

Another delightfully amusing regency with Ms Quick's light, clever touch.

One of my "comfort reads". One of the three best Amanda Quick books... (along with Scandal and Ravished). Great mystery, great heroine and hero. Memorable read.

Iphiginia decides in order to help her aunt she must become the Mistress of the Earl of Masters in name only. However 'Mrs. Bright' has no idea her charade is about to take on new dimensions.

Predictable romance--you can figure out the blackmailer the first time you meet him. I liked the characters, especially a smart woman as the protagonist.
