“This is the final book in the Strain Trilogy. This entry was back up to the standard the original book had. I wasn't a huge fan of the second, but I can understand that it was kind of the set-up for all of the action in this one. I don't really want to say too much in case people haven't read the first two, but I felt the relationship between Eph, Nora, and Fet was very well done in this part and I really liked how some characters in the earlier novels stepped up and became very integral to the action and the hunt for The Master. Even though it seemed that there were a lot of ups and downs and some dull spots throughout the trilogy, I would definitely recommend this entire trilogy, especially to those who would like a real vampire story as opposed to all of those teeny bopper romantic vampire "novels" that are glutting the market these days. 4 stars”
