Loved it! this is such a yummy book..... but i didn't really like the ending, but it opens the way for the next really well. I love the brotherhood books, though this one is my least favorite at this moment. read it in one sitting, stunned myself with that!

I love J.R. Ward's novels. I liked the book, but I didn't like the ending. Plus, I think when Jane was allowed to flip the script on V and be the sexual dom, she could have gotten more hardcore.

I finished this last week, and though I'm not as eloquent as most of you, I'm glad I can post here honestly and not have to worry about getting slammed.

I just started her series and I really enjoyed the first three. Butch's story sort of dragged, but compared to LU, it was GREAT.

My brain can't wrap around this one simple thing: Jane is DEAD. Not immortal. Not living (even though she hold a corporeal form), but dead. And V...isn't. And regardless of the "Splice of Life" on the lifetime network site, the "interview" didn't change my mind.

I was so looking forward to Vishous's story--it had so much potential, but his story got pushed aside while other things took precedent. Like the medical procedures; Manny; Phury's guilt-unrequited "love" for Bella, etc.

To me, this was NOT a HEA. Again, at the risk of repeating myself--Jane's DEAD.

There's been talk how the Virgin Scribe couldn't give her immortality because she gave it to Mary. Mary being a special case. I would argue, since Vishous is her SON, she could have. But that's just me.

This is not to say I won't continue to read, inspite of all the slang/jargon that I don't understand and the sentences that should have a ? but don't. Those are small irritants. It's a good series.

I have to say, that Zsadist's story is my favorite, then Rhage, followed by Wrath and Butch. Vishous's story was a letdown.

I have mixed feelings about what she's done to Phury, and I'm not so keen to read a story about Rhevenge, purely because he's a drug dealer/pusher. We'll see.
