Carr tried to do too much in this book. She should have concentrated more on the main hero/heroine relationship, rather than throwing fifty other storylines into it. Setups for other books can be done slowly, subtly, and with less of a "throw everything and the kitchen sink, too" feel to it.

This third book of the series was the worst! Hey Jack, it's not all about YOU! The author tried to have too many stories. Some were good, some not necessary and clearly there for a set up of a new book. Need I say, I won't be reading any new book of Ms Carr's?

Ok, this was not as emotionally wrenching as the second one was, but once again it was a satisfying and emotionally honest story. I was actually mad when I reached the end... it can't be just a trilogy!! I want to know what happens to Rick, Liz, Tommy, Brenda, Paul, Vanessa, AND Mel's next one!
I can honestly tell you that these have made it to my keeper shelf & I'll reread them again and again. Plus I'm going to get some more by this author!
