This is a historical fiction book about a Jewish family named Platt, who lives in Berlin during the time of Hitler. The father of this family leaves for America and tells his family that he will send for them when the time is right. Hitler's power is getting stronger, so the rest of the family decides that they would be safer in Switzerland. Although the family feels safer in Switzerland, they go through many hardships and struggles, inclduing being seperated, until their father sends for them.

I thought this book was kind of scary so i would not recommend this book to a yonger kid. But to an older kid yes i would! What happened was the three girls Ruth, Lisa, and Annie, they go to Swizerland to get away from the Nazi. Also there is a war about to happen so they go to Swizerland.
There father has gone to America so soon there father will send for them. Then at the end, will i am going to let you read it!”
