I read The Old Man and the Sea when I was 18 in German, I read it again when I was 55 in English and boy it's still a fascinating. If you feel blue, read it, or read it anyway. It a great read and a very strong story. I hope to see "my lions on an African beach!"

Hemingway's words are concise but extremely descriptive. His writing style has always appealed to me and this book includes four of his more well-known novels.
