Quotes edit see section history

  • “'He snapped at Hazeltail for getting in the way, hissed at Cherrytail for trampling on Ferncloud's moss, and ordered Foxleap and Toadstep to fetch Comfery.' He glanced warily over his shoulder. 'So I guess he's fine.'”
    Bumblestripe
  • “There will be three cats, kin of your kin, with the power of the stars in their paws. They will find a fourth, and the battle between light and dark will be won. A new leader will rise from the shadows of his death, and the Clans will survive beyond the memories of his memories. This is how it has always been, and how it will always be.”

Organizations edit see section history

  • Thunderclan: One of the four Clans around the lake. Their neighbors are WindClan and ShadowClan. They are respectful of other Clans in piece, yet in battle they are fierce, courageous, and loyal. They speak out for what is right and are not afraid to challenge the warrior code. They hunt mice, voles, squirrels, occasional rabbits, and forest birds. They have excellent stalking techniques, keeping upwind of their prey, creeping across the forest floor unseen and unheard.
  • Windclan: One of the four Clans around the lake. Their neighbors are ThunderClan and RiverClan. They are fiercely loyal, tough, fast-running, and easily offended cats. They are nervous and quick to flee, due to the lack of cover on the moor. Of all the Clans, they have the deepest knowledge of Twolegs from when they lived in the forest near farms. They hunt mainly rabbits, and are fast, lean, swift hunters. Their short, smooth pelts of browns and grays belnd with the rocks and grasses.
  • Riverclan: One of the four Clans around the lake. Their neighbors are WindClan and ShadowClan. They are contented, sleek, and well fed with long fur and glossy coats. They love beautiful things and often collect rocks, shells, and feathers for their dens. They do not fear water. They hunt mainly fish, but also water voles, shrews, and mice. They're strong swimmers, moving silent and scentless through water. They scoop fish out of the water from a bank -- a skill most cats in the other Clans cannot master.
  • Shadowclan: One of the four Clans around the lake. Their neighbors are RiverClan and ThunderClan. They are battle hungry, aggressive, ambitious, and greedy for territory. They hunt frogs, lizards, and snakes that live int he boggy, peaty territory, as well as squirrels that live in the pines. They hunt by night better than other Clan cats and are skilled at skulking unseen through the undergrowth.
  • Starclan: The place in the stars the Clans believe they go after they die. StarClan is the home of all Clan cats good of heart. All Clans thrive there. There is always enough food for them to eat. All are treated respectfully.
  • Dark Forest: The place the Clans believe all dark-hearted cats go after they die. The Dark Forest is a cold, unforgiving place of darkness and shadows. The cats here are ruthless and cold, unworthy of the peaceful StarClan hunting grounds.
  • Tribe of Endless Hunting: The place in the stars that the Tribe of Rushing Water believe they go after they die. Like StarClan.
