“Great book. Will Treaty is on his first alone mission to save the fort Macindaw. Macindaw is the only thing that will protect the realm from the enemy on the boarder. I would recommend this book to people who have read some of the series and like medieval times.”

“The Siege of Macindaw did not disappoint. I enjoyed every moment of it.

Will and Horace work really well together. I loved their banters and jibs at each other. Their friendship is truly genuine. Like Will and Horace, I’m very fond of the Skandians. They’re a nice bunch of people once you get to know them. I also loved that we get more of Alyss. She’s such a good character; I hope we get even more of her in the future. The scene in the tower with Will, Alyss and Keren though. Holy cow, that was intense. I loved it. Aw, I’ll miss Shadow (the dog) though. I loved the fact that Will’s loneliness was addressed here even though it was heart-breaking to read about. It was something that he had to deal with because of his role as a Ranger. The ending of this book actually made me go ‘aww’ because of how sweet it is. Thumbs up for you Flanagan. Off to read the next book now!
