“I didn't really get into this play. It was good, but I just couldn't get into it that much. Another English books from another year, but all the same it was okay.”

Jason should have known better than to cross her;) This holds a special place in my heart since I had to translate it into English from Ancient Greek as part of my Greek 201 class. Fun times!”

Medea is furious, hysterical, depressed at Jason's betrayal, as he now wants to marry king Creon's daughter, the princess Glauce. With their sons, she is to be exiled from the city, with nowhere to go, and with Jason doing nothing. Medea, a foreign witch already proved a murderer (of her brother, and king Pelias) and a betrayer of kin, hatches a terrible plot. She sends her sons to deliver a beautiful garment to the princess Glauce who puts it and and begins to die a horrific, painful death as the garment's poison burns her alive. Trying to get the garments off her, Creon too dies. Medea, after much internal conflict, murders her own sons, effectively ending her husbands lineage, to Jason's horror and sorrow. She escapes to Athens in a chariot pulled by dragons.”
