“This was really enjoyable, but it did not match up with the first one, Spell Hunter. It was very fun to read about what happened after "Spell Hunter". I kinda hoped the main girl (momentarily forgot her name) would end up with Nick...:/ But, It makes sense who she did end up with. :) ”Evenstar wrote this review 4 days ago. “This is the second book in the Faery Rebels series. I didn't like it as much as I liked the first book, but I think that is because the romance was missing and that is always my favorite part. Is well written though and I enjoyed getting to know the new characters as well as seeing the old characters in their new roles. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next book.”Veray C wrote this review Saturday, March 2, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“I think that this book is absolutely fantastic. It is the second book out of 4 in the beautifully writen series by R J Anderson. This book is exciting and does not have a boring page in it so it was extremely difficult to put down. It took me 1 and a half days to read and it's not exactly a light read! Before you read this one don't forget to read the first book, Knife, in this gripping series. Enjoy!”Kendal wrote this review Monday, July 2, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? “I liked this much more than I liked Knife; there was a lot more action, adventure and generally I adored the whole story! Linden is such an adorable character and there were so many surprises! I recommend this to anyone, but I'd say start with Knife as it explains the background of the characters more, even if it is a little slow.
A good read all around, very enjoyable! :D”

“Linden's cage glowed with fiery heat, burning her fingers when she tried to cling to the bars. She fluttered helplessly in midair, wing muscles aching with the effort, knowing that she couldn't hover much longer before her strength gave out, and that the moment it did, she would die...

“I didn't love this as much as I loved Spell Hunter, but I did enjoy it. It seemed really short, the story really quick, but I enjoyed the continuation of the story and seeing how Oakenwyld has made it so far. ”Kari R wrote this review Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
