I liked this much more than I liked Knife; there was a lot more action, adventure and generally I adored the whole story! Linden is such an adorable character and there were so many surprises! I recommend this to anyone, but I'd say start with Knife as it explains the background of the characters...

This was so good! I'm still deciding if it was better, worse, or as good as the first one. :D I loved them both, though!!

This is the second book in the Faery Rebels series. I didn't like it as much as I liked the first book, but I think that is because the romance was missing and that is always my favorite part. Is well written though and I enjoyed getting to know the new characters as well as seeing the old characters in their new roles. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next book.

The plot for this story is about a girl fairy named Linden and a human boy named Timothy. They risk their lives trying to restore the Oakenfolk's magic and to find the Children of Rhys. But the evil Empress has their trail. Can they reach the Children before the Empress finds them?

I think that this book is absolutely fantastic. It is the second book out of 4 in the beautifully writen series by R J Anderson. This book is exciting and does not have a boring page in it so it was extremely difficult to put down. It took me 1 and a half days to read and it's not exactly a light read! Before you read this one don't forget to read the first book, Knife, in this gripping series. Enjoy!

I recommend this to anyone, but I'd say start with Knife as it explains the background of the characters more, even if it is a little slow.

A good read all around, very enjoyable! :D

A nice follow from the first book not related to the same previous character so much but still follows the fairies of the oak

Linden's cage glowed with fiery heat, burning her fingers when she tried to cling to the bars. She fluttered helplessly in midair, wing muscles aching with the effort, knowing that she couldn't hover much longer before her strength gave out, and that the moment it did, she would die...

I didn't love this as much as I loved Spell Hunter, but I did enjoy it. It seemed really short, the story really quick, but I enjoyed the continuation of the story and seeing how Oakenwyld has made it so far.
