she is an approachable writer but she has depth.
she knows her fashion, and she let's her characters eat. so i'm in. ”
“I enjoyed reading this book, it was an easy beach read. It was inspiring to read about very successful, independent business women, but I wasn't inspired by the manner in which they dealt with their romantic or familial relationships.”

“Normally this isn't the type of book that I read, I usually read books that are mysteries but I'm trying to give other books that I normally wouldn't read (except romance books I HATE those) and I saw this while I was out somewhere and decided why not? Very happy that I did pick up this book because I really enjoyed it. I don't watch the show sex & the city because I can't stand sarah jessica parker, to me she's really annoying as an actress and they show's rather lame too. ”

“So I'm about 2/3 of the way through this book, and so far I love it. The only downside, is that the chapters start out at one point, and then the author backtracks to explain where the character has been. It's slightly confusing, but the story line is great. ”

“It was light-not the kind of book that makes you think. however, that was the reason I read it-after reading a couple of books that were heavy in material, I wanted something light. It was a good book, a quick read. Take it on vacation.”

“Characters were not as developed as I've seen in other Bushnell novels. I personally didn't like any of the characters either. The writing was fluid enough to be entertaining but it just seemed to be whining the whole time. Guess I'll feel differently if I'm ever a 40 something rich diva.”
