Although the general idea is good and, worked with correctly, could make something really good, this book wasn't all that great. I didn't like the writing and the way some things were told. Some parts I found boring and it took a while for it to pick up. Still, the thought is good.

I'm not done reading this book yet, but so far it's pretty good. I actually didn't realize it was more of a young adult book, I was sucked in by the cover art. I love anything with faeries. I usually enjoy a more mature writing style but I will probably look for the other books in this series just because I like to finish what I start. Plus it's an easy, quick read.
