Sowell's "A Conflict of Visions" is just exceptional. How can people of good intentions hold two opposite beliefs of the world? As Sowell writes, “Conflicts of interests dominate the short run, but conflicts of visions dominate history.” A book that, again, will change how you view the world, or at the least help you understand how others do. Sowell is the Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. You can learn more about Thomas Sowell at: www.tsowell.com.
