  “A better than expected journey through Ireland's history and her endless struggle for true independence. You cannot help but feel immense pride as you read of the heroes and heroines who often sacrificed their lives for their people. I don't read a lot of nonfiction, but I was amazed by how emotional I felt when reading some parts. Some of the political discussion bogged down the last 50 pages, but history is history. A must read for every idiot who asks why the Irish can't stop fighting with each other.”
