“Due to a horrible accident Lisa had lost her father on her graduation day. Her mother became very sick with cancer. At 18 Lisa had to take on two jobs to try to keep with the overwhelming amount of responsibilities that have become her life. One of her jobs is cleaning a museum. Out of curiosity she touches one of the new relics and it takes her back 700 years in time. Torn between wanting to get home to tend to her dying mother and wanting to stay in Scotland and experience love. ”

“This is my favorite book in this series so far! I love this book! Cin is a great hero... a verra good man all the way through. I really like Lisa as well. I can't wait to get to the next book with Adam Black!”

“I liked this book, and I am definitely enjoying this series. I think if I had read this book a year ago I would have given it 4 stars, but as I read more and more paranormal romance I am getting pickier and pickier. I would definitely give this 3.5 stars though, if that was an option.”

“Another great Highlander story written by Karen Marie Moning. Although I loved the book, I am not sure about the ending. I think I would like for the book to gone on one more chapter. So I don't ruin the book for someone who has not read it, I will leave it at that!”
