Its about what you would think, lacking. I liked her other series, this one is basically just like the Highlander series but worse. Same concept, very transparent, you know whats going to happen for the most part, and not really worth reading. I doubt I will finish the series, but who knows.

I saw that! I love this series and just reserved Faefever and ordered Into the Dreaming. Plus I'm reading her Highlander series because some of the characters are in the Fever series.

When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death–a cryptic message on Mac’s cell phone–Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. The quest to find her sister’s killer draws her into a shadowy realm where nothing is as it seems, where good and evil wear the same treacherously seductive mask. She is soon faced with an even greater challenge: staying alive long enough to learn how to handle a power she had no idea she possessed–a gift that allows her to see beyond the world of man, into the dangerous realm of the Fae….

As Mac delves deeper into the mystery of her sister’s death, her every move is shadowed by the dark, mysterious Jericho, a... see complete book description

I finished the book within a couple of days. Lots of action, initially annoying heroine who improves. Not really sure who the hero or heroe(s) are since this is part of a series. The story is not romantic but I can see it may get there before the end of the series... I liked it and will read the next book. I think that a big part of all the books will be the heroine's transformation...
