Nicholas and the Gang was a collection of delightful snippets into the life of Nicholas and his gang. This Batchelder Honor book amazes me because the series was original published in the 1950s in France. However, they have been rediscovered and have been introduced to a new generation and country of children. This book is a testament to the power of good literature to span space and time.
