“reading right now, really good!
“This is the eighth book of the Pretty Little Liars series, and I think it's definitely been the best. The dramatic, murder mystery books are probably my favorite type of book. Also, I like how it's girly since it's about four teenage girls. It keeps you on your toes throughout the whole story, and makes you want to keep reading.”Lauren Garcia wrote this review Wednesday, January 25, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? “Wanted is the 8th book in the Pretty Little Liars series. I chose to read this book because I have been reading the series and I want to know what comes next. Emily, Spencer, Aria, and Hannah all think they can relax with "A" being gone and Alison's murderer on trial, but of course they are wrong. The girls find out that Alison had a twin sister who was held in mental hospitals for a couple of years. The girls are all shocked by what really happens, especially what happens to them in a place they used to gather at a lot. With Alison and Courtney....they don't really know what to believe.”h hunter wrote this review Monday, January 9, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Only read this because I started reading the series so wanted to finish. The style of writing throughout has irritated me, lots of dropping designer labels into it all the way through which grated. Interesting ending though which I didn't see coming!”Nat wrote this review Friday, January 6, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna — four girls, formerly five, have been pushing the reset button on their lives for three years since the night their fifth member disappeared, circumstances unresolved. It seems, however, that the empty spot will soon be filled again, for Ali’s twin sister Courtney is recovered from a stormy, netted past. Perhaps they will again be the coveted, envied princesses of Rosewood Day. But then again, they aren’t called Pretty Little Liars for nothing, and if not for their past deeds, it will be for new ones.
Vapid? Sure, why not? It’s certainly not the deepest book you’ll read. Mystery, history, and the silver spoon (knife, and fork set in this case) … perhaps that may be the only way to get to the teen demographic. If that’s the case, well, don’t deny that we haven’t seen it before (ahem, SVH anyone?) and loved it just as much!”
