Again

by Sharon Cullars

The minute Chicago journalist Tyne Jensen spots the man with the sexy green eyes at her sister's wedding, she is haunted by the feeling that their meeting is more than chance. There is something familiar about David Carvelli, something that makes her remember another man's hands caressing her, his warm mouth igniting a fire along the sweep of her neck, his voice a deep growl in her ear - I'll... I don't rave a lot about IR books because I find most of them to boring or melodramatic for my taste, but this is one author that really gets it right. I love the way she portrays her characters and especially her plots. Again, is a book that you should read. It's one you won't soon forget.

Fabulous! This book is what this interracial genre is all about. It had everything that makes a good read. I started reading this book and could not put it down. Although I have to agree in saying it was overly descriptive but the book as a whole was perfect. In the beginning of the book all I wanted to read about was Tyne and David. I wanted thier story to develop quickly because I really liked the interraction of the two characters. I thought the sub story of Rachel and Joseph was just a filler. But then I started enjoying both plots. It was a real roller coaster ride of emotions. It was hard to know what story was actually the main story. Was it Rachel/Joseph or Tyne/David and just when you think you will find out about Tyne and David the author goes back to Rachel and Joseph. My only problem with Rachel and Joseph was, was Rachel really inlove with Joseph? Or was she just filling a void? And I did not know what to think of Joseph. Did he truely love Rachel? or was it an obsession because she was so forbidden? I also wish that the end was more heart felt between Tyne and David. I do think it ended abruptly. All that heat/drama and the last two pages kind of leaves you cold and drama less. But overall really good read. This book should be in your collection!

Wow! This book hooked me from the first page to the very end. I didn't want it to end but needed it to because I needed to know... Even now after having read it a week or so ago, I still finding myself thinking about the characters, both Rachel and Joseph and Tyne and David. I don't know if I believe in reincarnation but the theory really worked here.

Every minor character had they place in the main story and help to propel the story to it haunting and tragic end!!! Every event, discussion or scene was placed to add depth and character and story progression for the reader to just sit back and enjoy. People didn't discuss anything that didn't relate to the story. There was a party screen that didn't take up three pages describing crystal glasses or the delicate gold inlay pattern on the ceiling. WHO CARES!? Again unless the ceiling is going to fall in on the party goers.. WHO CARES!?

This book reminds me of just how strong love can be. How it can make you do the right thing for the wrong reason and the wrong thing for the right reason.

I would love to read her next book. However, can she do it again? Can perfection be the norm for this writer? I would like to find out. Anyone can come up with a good plot but an excellent storyline in the hands of a highly skilled writer can create perfection. This book is in the category of perfection.

I didn't like this book. It is going on my pile of "books to donate". I'm sure someone else who likes this genre will gobble it up.
