- Margaret 'Meg' Falconer: Aiden's sister. She and Aiden were put in Juvie and managed to escape and travel 7,000 miles from the FBI the year earlier. They ended up being innocent. Kidnapped in the last book. Resourceful and smart.
- Aiden Falconer: Meg's brother. He and Meg were put in Juvie and managed to escape and travel 7,000 miles from the FBI the year earlier. They ended up being innocent. Loves his dad's action/adventure books.
- Emmanuel Harris: An FBI Agent. Famous for his height and addiction to coffee.
- "Mickey": One of Meg's captors, younger and more easy going than the other two. Wore a Mickey Mouse mask to protect his identity when kidnapping Meg. She calls him Mickey. Is in the kidnapping for the money. The only one of Meg's kidnappers that she considers to be a human being. Described as being kind and always looking a little embarrassed and regretful whenever he was guarding her.
- "Spidey": The third of Meg's three captors, the muscle and brawn. Wore a rubber Spider-Man mask when capturing Meg to protect his identity. Described as having a bad temper and an even worse attitude, backed up by the body of a professional wrestler.Nasty and menacing.
- "Tiger": One of Meg's captors, the only girl of the three. Wore a mask with a caricature of Tiger Woods on it to protect her identity when kidnapping Meg. She calls her Tiger. Described as less volatile than Spidey, but in a way, scarier.
- Richard 'Richie' Pembleton: Aiden's best friend. Very persistent. Always wear a baseball cap from a very minor league team no one knows or cheers for.
- Sorenson: A very by the book FBI agent.
- Louise Falconer: Aiden and Meg's Mom. Was given a lifetime sentence to jail for allegedly helping Terrorists. Was proven innocent.
- John Falconer: Aiden and Meg's Dad. Was given a lifetime sentence to jail for allegedly helping Terrorists. Was proven innocent. Writes a series of action/adventure books.
