If only our Yuletide seasons still ended with such wit and grace! Christmas would fast become the gorgeous process of celebration that it inherently is, as opposed to the single-day bang-up which leaves January a withering, post-holiday hangover.

I am way out of practice at reading Shakespeare or I probably would have enjoyed it more.

I don't know what to say about this one. Maybe I feel it's just so clever how Shakesepeare links all the events in this play to make us laugh. The best comedy I have ever read based on "mistaken identity".The best thing is that while I was reading I was not confused at all with the characters. And although I was not confused with the characters, Shakespeare never failed to surprise me with unexpected events. And in spite of the irrationality of the happy ending, I was happy with it.

Twin siblings torn apart by misfortune struggle in a strange land to find themselves and end up finding love as well as each other. A story about love triangles, gender, identity and a lot of misunderstanding. The Bard's comedy at it's best.

I love anything from Shakespeare. The man is a genius at writing plays.

I love the stories Shakespeare writes, but it's not exactly an easy read. I'm sure I would've loved it if I was born a few hundred years ago, but that's not the case. Great stuff, clever lines, I mean it's Shakespeare.

This idea effected so many other creations: the eponymously named movie, "Freaky Friday", "She's the Man", "Ten Things I Hate About You", and countless more. It's a story I don't mind being redone time and time again; it's to be expected of such a timeless Classic.

I believed in shakespear being a genius only after I finished reading this. Don't ask me why.
