“i normally love brett easten ellis books - i thought lunar park was absolute genius. but i just could not get into this - too many lists about what people were wearing and what everyone was eating. the characters were too flat and had no depth. i understand that is the idea that he was trying to get across - that consumerism has lead to lose of identity - but i still did not enjoy it :(”
