“I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would. I'm not quite sure why. I liked how Hesse was very poetic, but not the the point of pure poetry (if that makes sense). I found the character of Peter Camenzind very intriguing. I especially loved the explanation of his being in awe of clouds towards the beginning.”
