Ridiculously Simplified Synopsis edit

- Julie Sivik: Boss of Andrew and Mouse. She is prone to taking action before completely thinking out the consequences and possibilities. She is also Andrew's love interest.
- Andrew: The main character of the novel who was "called out" of "the lake" by Andy Gage to take control of the physical body.
- Adam: "Son" of Gideon who is a selfish teenager. He helps Adrew from time to time with insightful observations as he has a deep understanding of people and the uncanny ability to guess what they are thinking/feeling.
- Mrs. Winslow: The owner of the house from which Andrew rents a room. She is kind and understanding of Andrew's souls and accomodates him as much as possible. Mrs. Winslow was at one point of time married with children but her family was brutuly murdered and she herself was psychologically tortured by the murderer for years after.
- Mouse: The predominant personality in Penny Driver. She intially is not aware of her multiple personalities and after accepting the idea, feels indebted to Andrew for hsi intial support and follows him on his journey to find peace.

- Aunt Sam: A female soul in Andrew that inhabited Andrew's body when he was younger in his home town.
