    I think liking his style is key in liking his books. Personally I love him and that's why I can go back and read him over and over again without getting tired (of course with a few years interval between readings).

    I whole-heartedly agree with Vinay Kalia's comment on "Love in the Time of Cholera". Marquez is a master storyteller with a great style, but "Cholera" should have been ritten as a 25 page short story. There just wasn't enough story for a 350 page novel and it got very tiresome. I wanted it to conclude long before it did. But "100 Years of Solidtude," Now there's a classic!
