This book is connected in a way to Wisdom Hunter. There is a character from Wisdom Hunter that reappears in Jordan's Crossing but he is not a main character. It would be possible to read this one first and not be lost. However, I recommend Wisdom Hunter first. This book, in my opinion, was better than Wisdom Hunter. Don't read this book if you think everything in the church today is right. This will blow your doors off!
