“A good book, well writen. As a long time die hard ST. Louis Cardinal fan it was tough picking up a book about the Boston Red Sox, but what a great time in baseball history and the way the book is presented it is an exciting read. The lasting friendship formed by Williams, Dimaggio, Doerr, and Pesky could be Brock, Flood, Gibson, and Javiar or just about any other three or four guys on a team in the 50's and 60's. It was a beautiful time in baseball. Ted Williams was a one of a kind for sure...an American treasure. ( Highly recomended )”
