“As a member of the elite “Free Fellows League” Jerrod, Marquis of Shepherston is willing to do anything for his country but marrying isn’t one of them. His long childhood neighbor, Miss Sarah Eckersley, shows up on his doorstep dressed only in a wet night gown begging for his assistance. After his father’s death, Sarah is thrown out of her home, escaping an unwanted betroth she must marry in a fortnight. She had always love Jarrod and wants to marry him desperately. She tells him she wants “lessons in seductions” so she can become a courtesan well in truth she has her eye set on bending his will to her own. Now Jerrod must fight his demons to marry the woman he loves. I really enjoyed Rebecca Hagan Lee “Hardly a Husband”. The characters experience a lot of sexual frustration with witty playful conversation. It’s a fast and fun read.”
