Yes | No“I can tell what a good writer Rowland is, and the book is extremely well-researched.This 2nd book in the series about Japanese samurai detective Sano opens in 1689 in Tokyo. I juess I am just not enough of a fan of historical mystey novels in general to truly enjoy this series. Many do, howeve, so i'd advise anyone considering it to give it a try. I read the first book in this series and didn't enjoy it much so decided to try the next one. Ah so!”
