Tips for reading 'Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao' by Dr. Wayne W.Dyer:

    1. Read 'Preface' first and then the 'Epilogue'

    2. Avoid reading verses one, two and ten in the first reading since the subject is paradoxical and can create severe confusion without understanding the thoughts of Lao-tzu

    3. Read, re-read and think and try to accept and adopt and have feeling of well being. Any verse, any time, can be read. They are all independent great thoughts and lessons.

    4. Acknowledge the wisdom of the writer and thank God that you have come across some glitter and myself - a सुमति (good company)

May you be always smiling and happy.

For me this book is a daily devotional, something you could read from every day. It is written in two to four page thought reviews by Dr. Wayne Dyer, that are thought provoking, and can be life changing as well. I should read this every day of my life to keep my grounded and centered.

I am a fan of the Tao te Ching, but Dyer's discussion of each verse was like a breath of fresh air. "Change your thoughts, change your life" is right. This book changed my attitude.

Excellent translations, followed by nice essays, and a overall nice summary of putting the principles into action.
