Read this for a summer reading assignment and hated it. I thought it was boring and the end is a total cop-out.

all of Crichton's books have been an excellent read. I would recommend anything he writes! And when they become a movie, too, what more does one need to say?!

Great book! But only if you have an inclination towads science to begin with. Very little human interest. But shows how great Crichton is at lighting the spark of interest in the most ordinary layman.
