While written in the late eighties, well before the arrival of the Internet as a dominant job hunting tool, Mr. Falvey offers essential insights into the process of finding work and on mastering the human dynamics necessary to promote yourself both externally, to new jobs, as well as internally to new levels of growth within your next place of employment. In fact, the book's greatest strength actually lies in the fact that the author didn't have the chance to get distracted by all the bells and whistles of modern technology; he focuses on the good old-fashioned principles that lead to career success, and while somewhat forgotten, these rules of thumb are as valid as ever in terms of getting ahead in the world of work. Recommended for both young adults and mid-career professionals alike!”
