Changeling (Sisters of the Moon, Book 2)

Changeling

by Yasmine Galenorn

"The first in an engrossing new series, [Witchling was] a whimsical reminder of fantasy's importance in life" (Publishers Weekly). Now comes Changeling-again featuring Camille, the good witch, Menolly, the vampire, and Delilah, a feline shapeshifter. They're the D'Artigo sisters, half-human, half-Faerie supernatural agents who are now enlisted to find the fiends responsible for slaughtering the... (read more)

This was a great book. I cannot wait until winter 2007 when the next book comes out!

As with her first novel Witchling, the author took her time getting into her story. But that is the only thing I find lacking, except for the werespiders, in this interesting and entertaining world that Ms. Galenorn has invented.

There is comedy, "tabby cat turned panther", all different kinds of romances, suspense even a little bigotry from the werepumas. All in all it is a good book for the 2nd in a series and will look forward to the 3rd one.
Changeling is facinating

The second in the series about the D'Artigo series, half-human, half-fairie. This book features Delilah "the Changeling". Delilah is the were-sister who turns into a Tabby cat when she gets scared or upset.

Yasmine Galenorn has created a complex yet interesting world combining Earthbound and Others.

I loved everything about this book starting with the cover. The cover actually matches the description of Delilah, imagine that. Have you ever picked up a book because of the cover only to wonder at the end, where they came up with that.

The story maintained my interest in every page and topics that usually put me off a book "multi-lovers", didn't bother me as much in the Galenorn tale. I would give this book 10 stars if I could. It stays on my Keeper shelfs and my friends will all have to buy their own.

This is the second book in the Three Sisters series. The D'Arigo sisters are half human, half faerie and as a result their magic sometimes is a little "off". The oldest is a witch, the middle one is a were and the youngest was attacked and tortured and turned into a vampire. They are stranded earth side as Otherworld is in a civil war. The portals are now unguarded between the worlds and it is up to these three sisters to fight the demons and other evil things that are coming through the portals to try and take over Earth. It is Winter and as a reader you are going to be drawn into the winter solstice and meet more supernaturals. It is action packed, romance abounds and spells are the norm. I recommend this series to anyone who loves the paranormal and the fantasy. It's a winner.

Charming!

Sure, a book about three magical sisters is going to draw some parallels to the hit show Charmed, but frankly I think the girls in this book could k[...]. Following up on Witchling, the first book in the series( which I have not read), this books main heroine is middle sister Delilah who starts things off by introducing us to the entertaining world of a 10 lb. Long haired tabby cat. You see that's her world, at least part of the time. Instead of having scary magical powers or morphing into an impressive long toothed beast Delilah is content in what she was given at birth, the sometimes unstable ability to were naturally into a small and flippant housecat.

Delilah's life is about to get more complicated though. Following the events in the previous book where apparently they, as opperatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency, were charged by both the Fae leaders and the Elven Queen to stop a squad of Demons who were sent by a big baddy to obtain items needed in taking over the world, the girls are now living in Seattle-present day Earth. That in itself is something to get used to, but she has a human boyfreind,a hunky were-puma client, two snarky sisters, and a new squad of demons loose. To top that off this book has an extreemely creepy baddy-a pack of were-spiders who can either shrink to the size of a small, furry, poisonous spider or into a half spider/man gross thingy. It will have you checking all the corners of your house for cobwebs! Oh and an evil dead spirit has come back to the living and an Elemental Lord wants her as his Death Bride. Right...all in a normal day for any American tabby cat!
