  • Murray: Stumpy's neighbor in her tree. He is a tiny black-and-silver bat. He likes Mars bars.
  • Gwendolyn: The friendly hermit crab who shares a house with Kona. She is very weather sensitive and the most charming hermitbcrab with a creamy white shell that had flowing brown lines across it.
  • Professor Albert: A retired biology professor who loved to listen to the saxophone and grow daylilies. Owner of Gwendolyn and Kona.
  • Albert: Add a description of this character.
  • Top: One of three of Stumpy's children. He liked to sleep on top of his brother.
  • Bottom: One of the three of Stumpy's children. He was slept on top of. He preferred the bottom.
  • Sparrow: The last of Stumpy's three children. She was named Sparrow for her pretty songs.

  • Stumpy: An expectant red squirrel mother whose best friend is a dog. She lives in Gooseberry Park. She collects things people leave behind in the park, such as rubber bands.
