Well, I am torn on this book. I picked it up for my husband on impulse at the library, read it myself, and returned it before asking him to read it. Here's the deal: it IS funny, but if I were a man I might find it a bit insulting. Maybe it is because my husband already knows how to cook (he's half-Italian) and has no problems cleaning.
The title isn't just a silly joke; they are seriously marketing this towards the caveman man. Possibly for an older generation that still hangs on tightly to gender roles.
I will say this, besides being really funny in some parts, the authors are very clear that it is very important for men to take part in the pregnancy instead of being a bystander. The authors are often very adorable when they are describing how to make their "women" more comfortable/happy.
Just not for my husband who, fortunately, has already evolved.
