It was pretty good. Not the best one I've read, but good. The mystery was pretty intense and overly complicated IMO. But there was a separate storyline about Roarke and Eve hosting a big Thanksgiving dinner event. Roarke flew in many of the members of his newly discovered Irish extended family - including the children. It's always amusing to read about Eve's reaction to children :-)”
“The plot was a bit far-fetched and I wish Eve was a little more supportive when Roarke's family came for the holidays. 3.5 stars”

I will read the series. There is a romance for the character but it is not the focuse, don't let this hold you back it is a mystery first and formost.”

Nora Roberts' alter ego knows who to tell a suspense novel: solid characters, chilling scenarios, worthy villians. Eve Dallas has her hands with a double murder, her handsome billionaire husband and a Thanksgiving dinner. It's all in a day's work for this kick-ass detective.”
