Like most of today's romance writers, McNaught has also followed the contemporary time frame and this book does not disappoint! For it to be a New York Times bestseller is an intrigue for many of today's romantic fictional books (since the invasion of the Harry Potter novels, books of the other sort of genre have had difficulty making at the coveted top of the Times list). I read and reread this book over and again, and it's really nice. Not as nice as the old historical romance novels,...

    This is a book that keeps you wanting to turn the page to see what will happen next as McNaught supplies us with a roller coaster-like plot of twists and turns. I found the support of friends for Sloan in times of trouble to be a great and important universal theme.
