I did enjoy its twists and turns and tiny sub-plots, though I think some of them could have been explored a little more.
I thought that the relationship between the two main characters could have been given a little more depth also- just to make it a little more believable.
All-in-all, an enjoyable book - and interesting that it came out just months before the 9-11 attacks, given its subject matter!”
“For once, i have to say the book isn't as good as the movie. The people receiving the note were more likable and had more to do with guiding Peyton's change in the movie than the book it seems like. The newspaper anchor being a woman and having an affair with the boss does help the plot though i think for the book over the movie.”

It seemed like a cheesey girly book. But I was surprised in the end. It was a decent story and moving. It leads you to think about the secret parts of our lives we keep burried and the pain that causes. By no means a fav but it did better than my expectations. ”
