The plot was beautifully woven together. The intricate nature of her relationship with her mother. I kindda felt like her mother took to religion because it gave her a certain freedom that she did not have with her former husband. The descriptions of places and events were well done. I wanted to be in China to see things for myself. As well as the dialogue and the way the secrets began to unfold... That's it. Was it the same for you Rashi?
