“Neat story about the Romanovs but hard to get into, a bit of a boring story...”

The story of the kitchen boy who worked for the Romanovs just weeks and days before their deaths. This little book was quite the page-turner for me and I would not have put it down last night if it weren't for my eyes refusing to stay open. It was the first thing I picked up this morning and I'm glad I did.

Although the book is fictional, the letters printed in the book are not, and provide a little taste of the horror the family must have been going through. The writing is easy to follow and does not get in the way of the story and the main character so easy to sympathize with.
Very much recommended.”
“I was told before I read it that there was a surprise ending, so as I neared the end, I would think that I had figured out the twist, but then it would twist again and again and again. Great plot.”

Don't get me wrong, this book IS interesting; it's just that my mind's not into it. If anyone's paying attention to my shelf, they may have seen that I put this book on my "reading now" list, but I finished at least 5 books already, with this still on that list..”
