A complex plot with complex concepts. Truly a great book. And each time you read it is like a new adventure. ”

“The Great War and it's battles, both epic and personal are better told in Joseph Boyden's "Three Day Road".

“Robert Ross is a sensitive and troubled soldier. He is unable to handle life and all its horrors. A sad story that has more to do with internal battles than external ones.”
