Another fantastic addition to the Legacy of the Force series! Troy Denning has yet failed to disappoint me. He did a great job in conveying the Skywalkers’s emotions. Another fantastic addition to the Legacy of the Force series! Troy Denning has yet failed to disappoint me. He did a great job in conveying the Skywalkers’s emotions. I really liked the eulogy that Master Saba Sebatyne gave; it was very touching and sad. Oh, Ben… He was so close to the dark side. The fighting scene between Darth Caedus and Luke was epic. I feel so sad for the Solos. Overall, I look forward to Fury! Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Ben sees the light. Jacen gets his ass kicked by Luke. Hand and Leia and Jaina come to as very hard reality. Finally the WOOKIES get some air time..

The "Legacy of the Force" is a breath of fresh air after the grim Yuuzhan Vong arc and the creepy Dark Hive trilogy. The series has three authors (viz., Troy Denning, Aaron Allston, and Karen Traviss), who each wrote three books.

"Inferno" is book 6 of the series, byTroy Denning. What has become apparent is that Denning is just not the same calibre writer as Aaron Allston or Karen Traviss. You need to read his novels if you want to follow the plot line through the series, but they are no match for the enjoyment I get other authors.

This book makes a real world connection to the war going on now. It's good vs. evil. Light vs. Dark. The betrayl in this book connects to everyone getting betrayed at some point or another. It can connect to families getting separated. Even if it's war or something else.

This is one of the better novels, I think. It is becoming clear what is happening to Jacen. Now, the characters have a choice, how to proceed. I liked seeing this side of Luke, it made him seem more human and powerful all at once.

My only word for it: awesome. Wow! I don't understand how Darth Caedus could use the Embrace of Pain of Ben, but...
